keyboard

Ghosting is usually caused by flat screen monitors not refreshing the pixels fast enough.

Lag is usually a ISP problem.

-.- what i mean is keyboard responding fastly enough so that when i for example press space, it doesnt jump like after a delay. or when im running and i stop pressing w and it doesnt stop running immediately that sort of stuff.

Never heard of having a slow keyboard before?

I remember ages ago it was possible to increase the refresh speed of usb ports, to enable mouse to respond quicker, but I think it turned out to do nothing extra.

I think he is referring to ghosting in terms of the effect that can occur when holding down multiple keys on your keyboard and getting a kind of stuttering/slow-down effect (ghosting) to your in-game movements

@OP, you will have to check the specs of each keyboard to find out whether they use anti-ghosting technology. Even then you will have to dig deeper to find out which specific keys actually have the ability to use the technology. I know for example that the Razer Lycosa states "Anti-Ghosting" technology but does not tell you that only the WASD, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, tab, Q, E, left shift, Z, X, C, left control, and left alt actually use the technology. Which is plenty for most but if you play games that requires keys other than these for some functions you could end up disappointed.

Looks like you have got some research to do!

ive been doing research and even their own website dont say anything about it ... u see i was using a cheap no-name keyboard that i was using for 4 years and i had no problems with it at all, but nowadays im hearing some keyboards have this issue wtf? :D

Sounds very much like a marketing gimmick, I expect to find johnathan "FATALITY" wendal to be behind this.

I use a £15 micosoft wired keyboard and have never had a problem.

Maybe avoid a wireless setup?

brings me back to the question;

am i ok with any corded keyboard? because i dont realy want to spend a lot of cash on those "anti-ghosting" keyboards

The Lycosa is wired and it still relies on anti-ghosting. If it didn't have the tech I can only assume it would suffer from ghosting - unless of course it is all marketing as stated above. However, there is no doubt that ghosting does affect some keyboards (wired and wireless) so you will have to just read some reviews and double check before you buy.

research done. only keyboards that are UBER expensive have anti ghosting on all buttons, razer arctosa and lycosa have it only on the buttons u said, but given the terrible comments on the durability of them, i dont know what to do :s

Find a Speedlink Ultra Ally Jobby mate & Never look back. Ally so heavy enough not to move with profiled keys so your fingers don't get caught between them during mad thrashing sessions.
It has been the Perfect keyboard for me for Years & all through my BF2 addiction. It also fits in your coat pocket nicely for when you go out on the streets killing & maiming KB style. Once you have it locked in between the palm of your hand & the inside of your forearm you can spin slicing & hacking at your enemy making the final death blow a mere formality.

Personally been using this for the past 6 months and never had a single complaint about it:

That said, before the G15 I've used a succession of "free with anything" Dell and unbranded keyboards and i've never experienced any confusion around multi-keypresses since I got rid of my ZX Spectrum. I'm not sure I'd recommend a wireless keyboard for gaming as some of these can seem to have a delay between pressing the key and reacting during fast action, but stick with any wired one and you'll be fine.

Go with any wired one and then simply go with your favourite for looks/special features/price. :)
