I need a new keyboard for the office - made the mistake of buying a cheap Advent one and some of the keys are really sticky now.

I just want a normal keyboard that has shallow keys and is quiet to type on. There's so many out there and it's impossible to know what they're like without actually testing it. Any recommendations?

Max £40 really, but the lesser the better!

Actually, above budget but no batteries, I'm looking at the Logitech K750. Looks very slim so hopefully it is, but is it quiet to type on?

K750 is amazing to type on and yes it is quiet.

Some of the batches have battery problems (they don't stay charged even if your pc is next to a window).

The one I got had this problem, logitech offered to swap it free of charge if I posted it to them. So if yours has this issue get in touch and they should sort you out.

Tried the K750 at lunch and didn't like it at all. Annoyingly the keys on the Mac version are much nicer to use.

In fact the one that I liked the most was the Microsoft Wedge mobile keyboard, probably because I use my laptop a lot and it's very similar. I can't however justify £45 on a small keyboard when I won't use the stand it comes with. Does anyone know of any other laptop-profiled keyboards?

Not fussed about a backlight; I don't work at night.
