strange question i no but with some rts games coming out on the 360 next year ( having said that i can only think of one lol ) are microsoft going to release a keyboard and mouse for there console for games or is this not going to happen, or even better would a standard set work on the console or does the operating system on the 360 not have the drivers to do this :confused:
 
The 360 supports USB keyboard for typing stuff in on Live etc, but it's not supported for gaming, neither is a mouse. MS have said in the past they'll never release official keyboard and mouse support for games. Any RTS games on the 360 will generally just be tuned so that the gameplay mechanics fit with the analogue sticks I'd have thought.
 
IIRC final fantasy for the 360 supported keyboards for typing, at least the beta that came free with Xbox magazine did!
 
Yes, Final Fantasy XI supports keyboard in-game so this facility is available.
Depends whether developers wish to add support for it or not.
 
have you tried Battle for middle earth 2(RTS) on 360 that uses a gamepad, my mate says its pretty good(apart from FPS issues).

it would only be like people using a joystick in games so it wouldnt be much of an advantage
