My keyboard is listed as a Standard UK layout keyboard and says all major keycaps will fit.. is this called ISO?

TBF i have no idea what im looking for, my switchers are "Cherry Brown" with on switch RGB.
I want a standard size full keyboard that as translucent lettering.

What are the major brands to look for. and what are the layout types i need to look for if i just have a standard keyboard.

And do you remember the rubber rings that used to stop keys from slamming to the bottom are they still a thing and what are they called.

ISO & ANSI refer to the physical shape/location of the keys. UK layout is ISO, US is ANSI (See image below to see the differences). There are other differences as well - US layout has:
2/" as 2/@
3/£ as 3/#
#/~ as \ |
'/@ as '/"
Are you looking to just replace your keycaps or the entire keyboard? If you have a standard UK layout then you'll want ISO-UK. The o-rings that prevented bottoming out are called, well, o-rings or o-ring dampers. They can make a mechanical switch feel more rubbery/spongy, so that's something to look out for.

yes is the 3/£ model of UK and from the info the listed is ISO..

What's the keyboard make and model?

It's known as UK ISO as other countries use their own version of ISO

it must be the UK ISO based on the info in the other post.

i have a SteelSeries APEX, but it as a full size return key so UK/ISO.
ive ones got a Logitech US/UK keyboard and i had to send it back because it drove me mad trying to hit @ and £ and hitting the wrong stuff all the time..

so i want UK ISO Translucent keys. now the only question whats the brands them make all the cool looking keys..
i see some real amazing looking, stuff but when i look can only ever find it on ebay from china for 99p...

Have you checked out the Glorious GMMK 2 keyboards from OCUK, you can buy the base kit and add your own choice of switches and keycaps or you can buy the fully made version, really good prices as well :)

im really happy with the keyboard i have, its from OcUK. it about a year old and i just want to give it a fast lift.
i'm dyslexic so the keyboard gets little use other than gaming and a little forum use.
