Keylogger

Any further info?
Why do you need one? Which keys should it be capturing?
Does it need to be hidden?
 
Don't go there dude.. It will be if you start spying. If you suspect anything then you're just best to come out and ask. If you can't then obviously you have no understanding of communication, then it's no wonder your relationship is rocky. Sorry to be blunt. If she is cheating on you then it's only a matter of time before it comes out but talking helps.. You may have it all wrong. Believe me.

online auction would be a place to go, but maybe if you have a laptop you could install some sort of remote viewing software that runs in the background so you can see what's what.

However as said it may end in tears, what are your suspicions based on? sometimes the mind plays tricks and her spending lots of time on the net around now could be her shopping for your xmas present. best to confront if you have something solid.
 
Keylogging isn't particularly safe. Googling them will likely just result in dodgy ones that report back to some server somewhere.

I'm unsure of the legality of using them against someone who doesn't realise (ie to read her emails, i *heard* it's like opening someones mail. If it was the end of your marriage and it came up in court then you'd probably be shooting yourself in the foot).

If you're convinced this is the way forward, and the problem is chat based, try and enable chat logging in MSN or whatever.

Otherwise it's not something i would recommend.

I don't think they do wives on ebay anymore, maybe try mail order catalogues!

I used to use a keylogger on my machine to see if my mates were using my pc because they said they wernt. It was hidden from the taskbar and in task manager had a random name that was pretty untracable. Turns out they were so i changed my password

Great program, it was free too. I cant remember the name of it but will check tonight if i still have the install files

Your virus scanner will go crazy.

At least use an open-source one which should be safe, i.e. PyKeylogger (***** :o).

I used on some time ago, My wife (now Ex-Wife) was getting addicted to Second Life, she'd already said she wanted a Divorce, but I wanted to try and save our marriage, it was my computer also!..

I know its a strange way to try and save a marriage.. spying.. but I found out some reeeaaly nasty things reading back the Logs.. plus I found her MSN logs (I turned that on too), reading 'Cyber Sex' logs involving you wife and a.n.other is really not a nice thing to do (for your own sanity!!).. used em in the divorce precedings!.. as it was my computer and not hers the courts accepted them as evidence!..

Sorry to hear its come to this dood!... try some other forms of finding things out, before going down this route!..

Okay I'm free and happier than I was during my Marriage, I've got a wonderful girlfriend who I met on POF about 9 months ago.. but I'm also skint!!.. :)
 
oh man, that sucks dude :(

i'd go with Admiral Huddy's advice, it's to talk and try to resolve then to spy.

being honest with each other might help turn things around, you may understand why she may be doing something, or something she doesn't like about you so you can try and put things right.

The above is good advice. Although I don't really agree with the idea it's none of my business so just make sure you don't nerf your own computer installing a bad key logger.
