keys came up in the corner of the taskbar, windows vista needs activation.. WTF?

i paid for the full retail version of home premium, now this started coming up last night in the early hours of the morning..

i activated it as soon as i installed it, since the keys have been coming up though i clicked to activate again but it said the key is already in use, (well obviously since im using it)

wtf is going on?

has somebody stolen my key by accident or something?

You can reactivate your copy of Vista online if it's OEM or Retail - likewise online activation can be rejected be they OEM or Retail.

It's all down to the number of times it has been done and how recently the key has been used.
If retail versions always activated online then it would be those that you would be downloading from your favourite thieves site rather than the corporate editions.
