Keyshot laptop 3080ti vs 4070

So the fiancé does a lot of keyshot and rhino modeling and rendering, mostly complex interiors but usualy on a MAC

When it comes to laptops a 3080 ti 16gb laptop can be had for about the same as a 8gb 4070 laptop.

Am I right in thinking that for renders the extra VRam is going to be way more useful than the more advanced core?


As my understanding is that if the Vram limit is hit keyshot fails and defaults to CPU rendering instead of GPU rendering.

Ah sorry i thought html, graphics and programing was websites, rendering and coding sort of professions rather than all html my bad sorry.

No, it's programming and things, it just seems more like a laptop and/or graphics card question to me, but maybe I'm not understanding you
