KFA2 3080ti

I'll almost definately be trying to get one of the new 4000 series cards when they launch if the performance rumours are true. I'm trying to justify it to myself on the basis that there's no guarantee we won't see the same sort of shortages with the new models as we saw over the last two years.

Unless mining takes of again and we have other world events similar to covid it will not be like the past 18 months. Prices will be high at launch and scalpers will try and set the price but eventually the lower range cards will come out and you will get 3080ti performance in cards at half the price just like the 3070 is around the 2080ti for half the price, and uses less electricity

In that case, if it were me, I'd probably be looking at a 3060ti/3070/6700xt for now - should handle 1440p with ease and leave you about £500 or more in the pot for the next upgrade!
