kfa2 670 ex oc problem

Hi there i recently decided to upgrade my pc from a 650gtx to a 670 gtx and when i insert the 670 plug in the 6 pin power connector into the card and use the molex to 8 pin connector and plug that into the card then power up im getting one long beep followed by two short beeps then the beeps continue in a loop. The card seems to be powered up as the lights are on and the fans are spinning im using a MEDION AKOYA P2306 with 8 gb of corsair vengance lp

Couple of options to try is see if the motherboard is running the latest BIOS and also do you know the psu manufacture and wattage.

hi there its just the stock computer that came with the gtx650 the gtx 650 works fine the 670 is brand new not sure about the bios but the power supply is fsp 450w

Any ideas any one im hoping that the power supply isnt giving the card the right amount of power to boot up

Bit of a late reply - I am thinking the same but ideally can you test the GPU in a another machine?

If are looking at a better PSU which can power the card without adapters have a look at the Superflower below:

The model you have shown is the right psu but the specs are not the same they there is no 8 pin pci express socket on my psu and the dimensions are larger on mine
