Y U SO MAD THO?
KFC shows a chicken
Quorn shows a Mo Farah
which one is more accurate?
That's not a KFC chicken. It would be much less happy, perhaps on the floor with hock burn, a broken leg etc.
In my experience, people don't care. They want cheap chicken. The less they know about the treatment of the animal the easier they can tuck inFree range. Where chickens are crammed into a shed free to roam and trample over one another.

I'm not offended by the advert, however it is rather tasteless. Unlike the Colonels chicken variety meal with crispy strips and hot wings, which is lip smackingly good.
How is it tasteless?
I honestly have no idea how this ad is causing offense and/or being considered tasteless.
Tongue, firmly, lodged, in cheek....
Here's the complaint:Whoops!
Still don't understand the complaints though!
These complaints if upheld would stipulate that chickens (and other animals?) could not be featured in adverts for meat products or byproducts. The Advertising Standards Authority says the complaints have focused on a number of aspects of the campaign. These include that the depiction of chickens is “offensive and distressing” for vegetarians, vegans and children and that is is “misleading” because it features a healthy, older looking chickens that complainants believe misrepresent the age, quality and living conditions of KFC chickens.
Some also question if “the whole chicken” aspect is misleading, either because all parts of the chicken are not used or because additional ingredients are added. A further category of complaints centre on the song, with some calling it “offensive” either because it seems the word “******” had been omitted or that the lyrics allude to guns and therefore condone weapons and violence.
It's a crap ad. Mainly because it's confusing as hell.I'm not a vegetarian. I love meat and am not screamish about what goes into my burgers.
I don't like the advert though. Not sure if it's just how it bangs on about I'M ONE HAPPY GANGSTA DANCIN' CHICKEN LOLZ or what, but it just doesn't sit easy with me.
While I think people should be educated about what is in our food (something like the River Cottage series is good for this), I do not believe that making light (or dare I even say mocking) the animals that we kill in their millions every day for our eating pleasure is right.
