KFC ad complaints

I recall a few recent McDonalds ones which have cows in them to reinforce the 100% beef line. Maybe its a new thing.

Kentucky Fried CHICKEN.

Chickens gonna chicken.

If you don't like chicken (or other meats), go somewhere else. For the SJW's: if you're 16+ / 18+ and have mental capacity, then show some responsibility. Take ownership of your issues and wind your neck in. I say this as someone who prefer veggie options myself most of the time.

There was a story a while back where they were experimenting growing chickens without a brain. The body would still develop and fatten up, but the chicken basically had no head/brain. Think they fed them via tubes? Can't remember.

It was an effort to rear chickens without the "bother" of having to worry about their living conditions. Kind of sick, really. I'd rather give up chicken entirely than see stuff like that become reality. It's sad we can't just treat animals with respect.

Shows how much KFC value animal welfare, when the music used in the ad is by DMX, who's been convicted of animal cruelty against the dogs he was keeping if I recall correctly.

A company that profits off battery chickens doesn't care about animal welfare?

Can't find the advert I was looking for (singing... Picking up a barrel of Kentucky Fried chicken, is picking up some happiness, finger lickin good), but they told the truth in those days..

I'm vegetarian. As far as I'm concerned one of the chief things that leads people into meat eating is not really associating the food with the living animal it once was. There's a moment for many children when they realise that the food called "lamb" on the plate is the lamb that they see playing in the field. And often that's pretty distressing.

I don't really have a problem with an advert presenting the food as an animal. Hell, I think they should do it even more and show the conveyor belt that decapitates hundreds of screaming chickens a minute to really emphasize it!

I think the advert is really funny and no idea it would have been for KFC the first time I saw it.

Also I find anyone that complains about a TV show or advert a bit stupid. If you don't like it just change the channel. You are not being forcd to watch it!
