KFC - Downhill?

I swear zinger burgers used to come in a rectangle box with branding on it, but I got one recently and it came in a tiny, square white polystyrene box and looked and tasted like a generic chicken burger you'd get from an average takeaway. The chicken was tiny and dry, with hardly any 'zing' and the lettuce was translucent and mushy. The only good thing about it was the mayo, which still tasted like the KFC mayo I remember.
Zinger towers are no longer decent since they changed the sauce and removed the salsa. I've pretty much stopped going ever since then. As for the mayo, the Polish 'Winiary' mayo is very close to KFC mayo, and is one of the best mayo you can buy imo. try it.

I went into the Brixton KFC last weekend. I was admittedly a little merry, but this was at about 5 PM so not too hammered. I got the gravy box meal and honestly, it was great. The gravy is exceptional. I think it was gravy, chips, two hot wings, a boneless bit of chicken, and a wing. It was honestly really good...but I think this is probably the exception rather than the rule.

The clue is in your second sentence!

We can't all be sober all the time. Surely at least 30% of KFCs are eaten drunk

Probably higher, those are the people keeping it still in business! Tastes rank sober, probably more chance of winning the lottery than getting a hot meal from the closest one to me.
