KFC - Downhill?

After much debating over the Christmas period finally caved and had one couple days ago. Was expecting disappointment, was actually okay. The Stranger Wings had a nice flavor and kick to them and size and quality of chicken was fairly good (apart from hotwings which were more bone than meat). No idea what was going on with the fries which were a bit limp and couldn't work out if they are supposed to be seasoned. Overall a solid 7/10 takeaway though it cost us 40 quid so wouldn't go back in a hurry

We’ve found that if you go in and order and sit in (They do delivery table service) that’s it’s usually not bad, fresher. Just a shame it costs and arm and a leg!

Popeyes has really spoiled KFC for me.

Popeyes is so light, crispy and fresh, compared to the greasy, soggy KFC....it's genuinely really good food. Chips are better than KFC. Plus their Louisiana dipping sauce has some proper kick (quite similar to tabasco habanero).

And they often have some decent discounts in the app. I've had several 25% off vouchers which has allowed me to give them a try and yep definitely better than KFC (although I do love a KFC hot wing). And I do like their biscuits.

I much prefer Popeyes too. I don't think their hotwings are quite as good as KFC's, but everything else is far superior. I'll gladly drive the extra distance to Popeyes rather than the nearer KFC.
