KFC noob advice

Do fast food places like kfc have a license to stay open as long as they like?

When I've been to towns at night and seen a kfc they seem to keep it open for as long as theres drunkards coming in to buy food.

Are they allowed to do this and is this something unique that kfc does?

It's certainly not unique.

I don't know where you live but where I am in London, there are all kinds of takeaway places that are open very long hours and its not even in an area with bars and clubs that people are pouring out of.

Most of the kebab shops are open until very late weekdays and at least 4am on weekends. There is a 24 hour McDonalds and the KFC opposite has long hours also.

I'm not sure of the ins and outs of whether a licence is required for a food establishment to stay open late, but its not going to be something stringent like an alcohol licence and a late licence for an establishment that sells it.

If you have seen any of Channel 4's documentary 'The Fried Chicken Shop' the manager of the Clapham High Street Roosters Spot franchise said that they take the majority of their earnings for the week between 12am-3am Friday and Saturday. So you can well see why in an area with pubs and clubs that they would want to operate at those times.

So..... The outcome of this thread is that spoffle is potentially a massive lardo and not the l33t body builder he claims to be, :p

£20 for one person, sorry but unless you admit exaggeration you must be a pretty fat slob.

I can make a large 3 piece variety meal (around £6.50) make me last two meals!

* 1 Piece, mini-fillet, two hot wings and half the large chips
* 2 Pieces and the rest of the chips

:D

Myself and my friends, on the way back from Leeds fest ate a bucket of chicken each and 4 x fries each.

It can be done.

Btw not a fat slob, 10+3/4 st wet through.

For £1.29, I still think mini-fillets offer the best VFM out of any fast-food in the UK.

OP could have bought 15, 3 per person is good going (and what I usually have when KFC-binging).

Well regional pricing is understandable to a point given the differences in labour costs but charging more at service stations is nothing more than profiteering. They don't pay their staff any more than the high street ones and the mark up is purely down to having a captive market.

"Captive market", who are driving

Isn't lifting weights rather pointless unless your main goal is to build your body in some way? This is 2013, we have machines to lift heavy things nowadays so there's no real practical reasons to be strong is there?

 Catheters would allow me to wee without leaving my bed but funnily enough most people still go to the toilet.
Also I don't know of anyone who keeps heavy lifting equipment around the house.
