KFC Spare Ribs

Seeing the recent ads for the new Domino's boneless ribs I was reminded of the spare ribs you used to be able to get from KFC's many years ago.

They were lush! Does anybody else remember them?

What are these Domino's ribs like - are they similar?

Might have to start an online campaign to bring back the KFC ribs! Who's with me?

I love chinese ribs as much as the next man but these were something else.

They were BBQ flavoured and the sauce was epic, it clung on to your fingers like napalm!

This must have been mid 70's to 80's so probably too long ago for all you young un's..

I remember KFC ribs - bloomin fantastic, never been matched. I was totally gutted when they stopped doing them the bastwads.

Presumably they were pork ribs they sold before?

Very tempted to say that they were chicken ribs but you're right, they were indeed pork ribs..

...or so they led us to believe!

Monday nights they do all you can eat ribs and a beer for £14.95. Yumm!

Also has chicken in the all you can eat bit as well but we went for the ribs so asked them not to bring chicken after the first one

Oh it is!

Although I didn't feel to great once I had gotten home after eating far too much.

They have like a different special all-you-can-eat or massive meal each night of the week as well, and it is a very popular place.

I can't recommend it highly enough if you are looking to put on weight

in Glasgow you can get all you can eat buffets with hundreds to chose from for £5-7 at lunch time and £10 at night.

I also know places like that, but this is a speciality big eating place! and the food is really yummy. The atmosphere is also a lot better than most places.

Check Bodeans out in london, they have a few places, very good.

Bodeans is good, but Big Easy is all you can eat.

The Dominos ones are succulent meat, with about half a cm of fat. Absolutely amazing though
