Khan Vs McCloskey

I've never known what it is, but I have never like Khans style. Im lucky to have a friend who trains at the Wildcard gym so I have been down a couple of times (spectator only) and saw Khan and Freddie train once or twice, and even in training, there is something about him I cant quite put my finger on. I think, it just appears that he is never quite giving 100%, but yet...seems to want to convince everyone else he is. In all honesty, Khan has a lot more to lose in this fight, so I imagine McCloskey will be going in a lot harder. Whether this will work for or against him im not sure. I hope it works for him, and he manages to edge the fight and put Khan in his place once and for all, but we shall see.

I too am looking forward to the Fury fight. Been following his progress for a couple of years, and the thing that stands out most, is just how clumsy he has been in the last couple of fights, due to his size he seems to think he can bring his guard down lower, and he leaves himself open a lot. Im hoping this is something he has worked on. So Im looking forward to seeing if he can better himself, as now is the time he needs to start proving himself. Although I think I remember he constantly seems to have back issues, which im sure will plague him again soon!

If you don't think Khan gives 100% then you're definitely wrong, his workrate and fitness some of his strong points.

No loss, the guys' not all that talented or entertaining to watch anyway.

Well that's just not true is it? Who doesn't enjoy watching a chinny guy who can punch? His hand speed is dazzling, and it usually makes his fights extremely entertaining. However he just comes across as a bit of an ass. Moving to primetime is a really poor decision and one that shows contempt for the fans who he keeps claiming that this fight is for. So I agree with the "no loss" part for this fight, but I'll definitely be tuning in for the bradley unification when it happens.

Some good fights coming up in May. Mosley Pacquiao and Hopkins Pascal. Watched the last Hopkins fight and thought he deserved to win it, hope he can do it again.

got reading this today. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/13042547.stm

"But being a British fighter and having more support from American TV just shows that as a UK fighter I should have had British TV supporting me more."

and he wonders why people cant stand him, he had sky backing him till he was fed one lame duck after another. and put on some rather ordanary performances.

maybe if he fights a few good fighters and shows he's worth the money he will get support but while he runs around acting like a spoilt brat he can go the states and stay there for life.

Anyone know of a stream where we can watch the fight live?..

There should be plenty of streams up tonight. Leave your email add and I'll email you a working one.

The next fight vs Bradley may be worth a PPV but this one is a **** take really. Saying that though I have £38 credit on my Sky account and need to use it on something! I'm assuming this fight is around £15? What channel is Primetime and is it available in HD, and lastly can you buy it through your remote control?

Barca vs Real tonight aswel! :)

^ Agree with this, hence my post. He's been living off some hand-picked opponents and an ego/attitude.

As above, is Primetime available in HD? I found it on Sky channel 480 but can't find a HD option.

If you book it, does it simply show on your monthly bill? I have £38 credit to blow... lol.

Nah there is no HD option I don't think.

Never ordered anything from primetime but I think you have to pay some registration fee as well first time you order something and you can't order it through your sky box either you've got to call them up.

Tbh I'm just going to listen to it on Radio 5.

Yeah disappointing for Watson, he is the more talented fighter by far, but get caught clean on the button like that, and its over.
