Its irrelevant if he was winning at that time or not, the dodgy decision to end the fight robbed him of any chance he did have of winning.
Agreed, but that milky boy McCloskey was an awkward fighter. Dunno who he thinks he was, being so pasty with his hands down like that.. At least become someone if you are gonna act all cocky like that. And get a frickin tan, EVEN if its fake. No-one should be made to go through watching a man that pasty, with his top off!
Also to the dick with the fog horn.. WTF, they should have snipers in the crowd to take those clowns out. Annoying the heck out of millions of viewers. He was more anyoing than Froch's wailing g/f
Anyway, was Berto Vs Ortiz on in the UK? Best fight of the yr for me. Maybe even better than Khan vs Madiana. You boxing fans you who know how to get your hands on it, SHOULD !!!!
I certainly wouldn't go that far, but it's obvious to everyone that this fight should never have been a PPV, even before the undercard fell to pieces.
hahaha, so true. I turned the volume off because of it. At least Froch's GF was funny for a short (very very short) while.
Did you watch Maidana vs Morales? It was a surprisingly good fight. We've had a lot of good fights recently actually. Katisidis vs Guerrero and Salido vs Lopez were also top notch, it's just a shame that we don't get these broadcast in the UK.

Boxing is pretty much finished as a spectacle. In comparison to MMA is a snore fest. There are no stars of the sport anymore. They are all in MMA, strikeforce and UFC in particular.
The UFC have turned MMA into the best and most enjoyable sport in the world today. There are so many great stars in every division... I think boxing will die an enormous death very soon because of people like Khan, he got obliterated by Breidis Prescott and has fought nobody since... his management parade him as a great British prospect and he fights Barrera way out of his prime...its a complete nonsense and people are waking up to it.

Wouldn't call two grown men cuddling on the floor the most enjoyable sport unless you're in to that sort of thing.
I don't understand this reasoning. Pacquiao and PBF are superstars of the boxing world, enjoying huge crossover success away from their brilliant and compelling boxing careers. The sport is still producing incredible action. I named 4 brilliant fights that took place in the last week alone in my last post.
The British media has always had a strange attitude to sports. In boxing they sell rubbish like Haye vs Harrison as if it's a huge fight with great meaning for the sport, when in actual fact it's a top contender fighting a bum. But really the overhyping happens in all sports.
Yesterday we had a fight that was never going to be great that turned out not to be great. But not every fight has to be a classic, and this was always a keep busy fight for Khan anyway, so I don't see the problem (except for them selling it as a PPV that is).
You're clearly an Ultimate Floor Cuddling fan.
Hey if you're into watching fella's in hotpants cuddling on the floor, then that's up to you. I'll just need to make sure, that if we are ever in the same bar together, and I drop my wallet on the floor. I'll be sure to kick it out to the carpark before picking it up.
I completely forgot about this fight, can't seem to find it anywhere yet. If anyone can find a download link I appreciate it, my google skills are weak!
