Yeah that appears to be the general conciousness, that the make has improved a LOT over the years.

Think i'll have to book a test drive and see how it goes for myself. Already had a sit in one and its a very nice place to be.
 
Yeah i'm not fussed about the badge.

Same sort of spec on a Focus ST or Golf GTI would be £25,000 or £28,000 on the latter :s
 
Performance figures and economy isn't the greatest i'll agree with that but should be enough to cope and the reviews say that it feels quicker than the figures suggest.

Although i've not seen KIA themselves advertising it as a hot hatch, just that everyone takes it as one and then notes the sluggish performance figures.
 
You have three options, hand the car back, buy it at the Guaranteed Future Value or use that figure as a deposit for another car!

If I could live with 3 doors then i'd be getting a new shape Fiesta ST (or just keeping mine)

I'm not after a purely hot hatch, I was just gob smacked at the level of kit you got at the price with the KIA.

Should be getting a car to test drive over a period of a few days which is going to be nice.
