Hey all,

I've never had a problem with Punkbuster until now...

I played Battlefield 2 yesterday for about an hour with no problems whatsoever...

Today I loaded it up - I've been kicked off three servers for "Disallowed Programs/Drivers":confused::confused:

Any ideas?

Marky

Are you running any Disallowed Programs/Drivers?

:D

Haha I know it would seem like the simplest answer :p But no I don't think so :p I'm not cheating that's for sure - I haven't done anything different since yesterday...

also make sure your not running any overlay progs as that normally causes your kick. i know in cods it was a similar kick for fraps but i have that runnig all time . see what progs you have runnig if updating pb doesnt help

Okay I've tried updating manually - I've checked programs, nothing dodgy...
I'm on Windows 7 - running latest Windows 7 ATI Drivers.

Still getting the same kick message - however now it shows a number after the message [125083]

Doing some googling on it now...

The record I managed to stop the problem by turning off "Steam Community In-Game" in the Steam settings =\

Bit of an annoyance that I have to turn it off everytime I play Battlefield 2 :(

I'm assuming it's not the Steam version then?
I've played a few games that PunkBuster kicks for the Steam overlay, like Soldat. Very annoying - especially as the Steam overlay works fine in the Steam version of BC2!
