Soldato
Hey guys, after my last build, I decided that I wanted to have a build that was a little different to other projects out there, so I decided to get a skelly
So my new skelly arrived at around 20 past 11 this morning, so I've had most of the day to play with it
I'll start off by saying that this is an awesome case I love the finish, build quality and overall looks of this amazing case
case after first unboxing it, it looks like it's dark outside but that's just because of the flash
Motherboard fitted to the removable motherboard tray
This case is really easy to work with, because of things like being able to slide the part that holds all the components
This is where the pump is, although it is the other way round just now, and that is just twisting of the pipe
Love this button
case before leak testing
need some more tubing, as that tube from the rad to the cpu just fits with a little kinking
filling the loop
loop filled, leak tested and bled
I had to bend a couple of fins on my graphics card's heatsink, I did this earlier and didn't realise, and had to bend at least five fins back into shape
Skelly in her new home, sssshh she's scared
There she is
That's all for today, but I'm planning to:
paint everything that is black, orange
get some orange fluid
get some uv or orange led strips
either watercool my 460 or upgrade and watercool that card
fit my second rad
light up my res
maybe upgrade my cpu and motherboard
braid my psu
maybe other things but I can't think just now
specs:
i3 540 @ stock just now, my motherboard is very annoying for overclocking
msi p55a-g55
msi cyclone gtx 460 768mb
xfx 650w xxx modular psu
corsair xms3 1600mhz
1tb hitachi hard drive
watercooling specs:
EK HF supreme waterblock
EK compressions
EK 250mm res
Hardware Labs Black Ice® GT Stealth Lite 360mm Triple Radiator
Phobya DC12-260 12v pump
3x Xigmatek XLF 120mm LED Case Fans
Hope you guys enjoy
