It looks like he turned someone (or something) into a fine red paste using that gun. The gun looks like a sort of minigun.

I don't know what the game is, the filename says "ut" in it. Can someone tell me?

It is great fun, sadly the servers are very few. The same team did a UT3 version, but it is offline only & way less weapons. They are doing a stand alone game with the Unreal 3 (same as UT3) engine called The Crucible. Do any of you play the UT2k4 mod?
