Killed for a bike...

It is thought the 21-year-old was attacked by a gang of bike thieves.

Bike thieves? Sorry, but it sounds more like he was attacked by a bunch of feral murderous thugs who for some reason think they rule the streets.

Evil ********.

I don't know if he was given the opportunity or not, but I would have handed the bike over there and then.

I know it's giving in to the feral scum but I would rather do that than be battered.

Or the 3 strike rule, stops all these criminals reoffending, they know 3rd time and it's life regardless of what it is.

We'd need to spend a hell of a lot on new prisons though. I'd like to see some figures actually, i wonder what the prison population would have been over the last 10 years if we had a 3 strike rule.

Just pure scum.. theres millions of them in this country.

probably truely not their fault. its their scally single mother parents on the council estate

I think the offences would need to be graded to make this realistic though.

I recall a guy in the US who was a petty thief, on his third strike he stole a packet of cigarettes and was given life with no parole.

He appealed and a higher court quashed the sentence.

Bloody hell... as if cyclists didn't have enough to worry about already. (

If we aren't killed by cars not seeing us/giving us enough space we now run the risk of ****** killing us for our pride and joy. :(

Can't even lock your bike up in public without the damn thing getting nicked
