killing skype for business

bit of an odd one.

so i have office365 which comes bundled with skype for business which i'm not using.

for some reason it's decided to boot on launch now, which given this machine has a mechanical hard drive is somewhat annoying.

i've tried telling it not to start via it's own menu, via control panel and even via CCleaner but it still insists on popping up.

unfortunately i can't just uninstall it with it being bundled in office so i was wondering if anyone else had run into this problem and had any ideas?

Try this see if it's in the autorun list.

yes it is, i presume if i untick all the instances of skype for business/lync that'll kill it?

Correct, or right click > delete will be better to be fair. Get rid of it starting up all together.

ok so unticking the boxes for skype/lync on that app didn't kill skype for business but did manage to somehow disable the keyboard.

ahh windows......
