Killzone 2 Air Support Badge Help

I thought the sentry gun badge was tough, but I got there eventually, legit too!

Im hoping I can find a like minded individual who would like to buddy up in a private room and just stand and let each other be killed by one anothers air sentry bot? A 5min game should be enough for 5x kills each, multiply that by 8 and we'll both get our air badges?

Someone please help me out! Its just so damn hard, I played a 20min game and only got 1 kill!

We could also aim for our melee badges too if you want?

...once we set a time I'll make a room for just 2 people. I'll make maybe a 10min game to allow for both air sentry and sentry bot kills. While your sentry bot kills me I'll cave your head in with melee if thats ok? :D

I only want the sentry kills I'm gonna try an go for melee legit, for the lulz :p

haha, I tried melee legit but got too stressed. The melee action isnt as fluid as it is in Call Of Duty.

Im at work until 5pm pal, it may need to be 7pm onwards if thats ok with you?
 
So what,s so special about getting these ribbons for that badge ?
What does it do give you a super dupper trophy ;)
I have played it online 105 hours+ and only got 1 air support ribbon , but i felt i opened everything up to quick atleast they made one a serious badge with some hours put in :). ( is a pain in the backside cause there is only 2 allowed and 4 turrets )
 
It just means that you can swap the air badge with something else and more pts per kill, 3 hardest badges seems to be the air support, melee and capture and hold
 
man i go on pistol servers an i get mad in like 2 games because i keep getting 1 kill short and there are these guys running around with revolvers killing everybody, i mean whats that all about, everybody else is there to get the revolver and they just hang around because they cant make it in the real world, if i had the revolver i wouldnt be anywhere near the pistol servers ever again,
and dont even get me started on melee'ing punks running around killing you with the butt of their guns from like 10 feet away i hate that way more than i hate rockets

Loads of ppl do that, go to pistol servers and use the m4 if its not been disabled, really peeved me off when i was after unlock, but now i tend to go to pistol servers for the melee badge, slightly easier than normal games, also ive seen people use nades, and pistols in servers with the name Melee badge only.
 
Ive just come from a melee sever with every idiot throwing nades, all it does is bring the roudn end closer. Out of 32 people 3 will have walked away with the ribbon...idiots man.

Anyway, you guys are welcome to join for any badges you want.

well if i get 8 turret ribbons and get the badge i can then use the repair skill. I don;t really care about trophies just want to be able tofix up the ammo boxes and turrets for team-mates.

then once i get the repair badge (leggit) i can hopefully combine the medics revive and the engineers repair skill :D

I like being a team support guy :)
 
I didn't realize the turret ribbon was considered difficult. Played around 10 games on normal servers as engy and got the badge after that, so 8 out of 10 matches gave me the ribbon.

Melee seems impossible so far however and i haven't even tried air support yet. Really want the top 1% badge so i can try for platinum however i never seem to have enough time to play it enough in a week to obtain it.
 
I struggled with the turret one, but only because I think everyone ewho'd bought the game was going for it at that point, so laying a turret was practically impossible with about a dozen other people on the team all trying at the same time and only 4 turrets between us.
 
I found the turret one relatively easy too, the trick is to place it at height, so you get more instant kill headshots. I did have a few panic rounds with seconds to go and needing one kill mind. Hate to think I'd wasted 20mins on a game and not get a ribbon.

Im not interested in trophys, I just want to finally play the game and enjoy it for what it is, not worrying about what "type" of kills I get.

Im just thinking of the best way to do this tonight. As land sentry kills the air sentreis rather quick, we'll have to make maybe a 10-15min round (?) to allow for both 5x air kills each and your 5x sentry kills + my 10x melee kills.

I could always put my land sentry indoors so it wouldn't be able to shoot your air one?
