The only way to play it tbh!
Is it my imagination or do i shoot more accurately with the HUD turned off? Strange.
My only complaint with a lack of HUD is that it doesn't tell you when you can pick up weapons. Spent ages running around trying to get that rocket launcher.

I found that to be the same for me. I guess its because you aren't focused on lining up the cross hair on the target but instead just doing it. You really get a better at aiming without the cross hair as it forces to get used to the controls.
