My PS3 was faulty and I decided to get a refund and buy another 2GB of ram, another 320GB HDD and a 8800GTX.andy said:

Well i just watched the trailer and think it looks rather nice tbh. It is different to the E3 '05 CGI affair, it seems a bit more 'gritty' but since it is all ingame engine then i think it its coming along very nicely, especially for a game still at least 6 months out 
And i am a vegas fanboy, but i think this looks better than it. Although it will be 2 different styles of gameplay, this looks nicer than Vegas.

I would say elements of Gear graphically beat KZ2 hands down. However by the looks of it the environments, number of NPCs etc etc seems much larger than GOW which i considered nearly chlostraphobic at times.

I know people are entitled to their opinion, but I think the fact is that the Killzone trailer is very impressive..
Yes, Gears of War is very impressive as well, the textures/lighting in GoW is stunning, but watching the HD Killzone trailer equally impressed me, as mentioned the animation and some of the effects are wirthy of AAA status..
I think it looks better then the Halo 3 trailer, as the Halo artstyle is just not visually compelling, however, it will have to go some way to come close to Halo 3 as a game, but with the extra long development time, it better damn well be as good..
