Seems like a fair few important people on twitter are talking about Renault announcing Kimi as one of their drivers for 2012. Very interesting!

Seems like a shame for Bruno, especially considering his decent performance this weekend.

To me it makes sense though, Petrov has hardly set the world alight, and I can imagine the team would want a proper lead driver with a proven record, and potential to compete for wins.

I was under the impression he has a contract for next season? I suppose that's not to say he couldn't be replaced by Bruno?
