Is '1/2"' the same as '10mm'? I've found a replacement Waterchill pump, but my current one uses 10mm fittings, what's the difference between that and '1/2"'

I know 10mm is the OD I need, think 8mm is the ID of the tubing.

Yeah, I found this thing that explained it all but it just confused me even more, oh well. The blocks use a universal pipe size so I can only assume that the pump uses the same one, i'll just buy it and find out
