im living overseas for a while and need a pic for work and games. I managed to grab my 970, mousey and ssd and bring em with me woohooo.

I'm looking to build a machine and I'm thinking an i5 'k' of some description should be man enough for my needs. Would like a mobo that would allow sli in the future. 24" of monitor at least.

Now the thing is, I won't be able to drag the whole thing home with me again, so don't wanna spend much on case, psu, monitor etc.

Would appreciate some of you fine gents suggesting a build or two.

What sort of budget do you have?

What country are you in? I know availability and price vary quite widely (I'm currently set up in NZ).
 
But not expecting quote for aus stuff. A spec based on ocuk prices is what I'm after. Cheers if anyone can help

The case is cheap and can be binned.

The monitor is cheap'ish.

The PSU will do SLI GTX970s.

SSD is a 500gb evo 840

That looks perfect, thank you very much. Is there any reason I couldn't throw a 4790k on that board if I felt the urge?
