kindle hd just updated

Ok.... turned on my kindle this morning and it wouldnt boot. It then what appears to be an update bar ( which it turns out it was ). And promtly reboots itself.

Anyone know what it is?

And, i didnt ask for this or get a prompt to download an update. It just did it. Not to happy on that front

I was going to send mine back,but have just rooted my Fire HD 8.9 and have CM-10.1 for the Kindle running on it very happy with it now
Installed Droidwall to stop the updates and keep root, lets hope it works.
