Quick question for Kindle users.

I have a paperwhite 2nd gen. I have seen that the new one offers a higher ppi and a new screen tech.

Has anyone seen the new one vs an older one? Is there a big enough difference to warrant another £110 outlay.

It may be a bit old fashioned but is there anything wrong with your Kindle that means it needs replacing or is it just wanting a newer one? I mean if it works and you're happy with it why spend the money for a slightly newer version?

I do normally think this way as I've got older I hate spending money. battery is very bad on my Kindle. Im not really sure why; but it was left unused for over a year. Since then it never really recovered

Just thought it might be nice for a change as well as it isn't even a paper white model.

I've had most of them and you can only really tell the difference if you compare them next to each other - the Voyage screen is better than the PW2 but not enough to justify the cost.

Think I will just get replacement of the one I have then. I guess at the end of the day, as log as you can read the txt on screen clearly may as well save the cash.
