What a amazing film, I never even heard about it, im not sure if it was released in cinemas but it was made in 2004.
It has to be one of the best films I have seen in a long time, some great acting performances from Ray Winstone, Kiera Knightly and Stellan Skarsgard.
The battle scenes were not quite up to par with Braveheart but not far behind, so did anyone even hear anything about this film when it was released or was I living under a rock during 2004.

Erm, you were living under a rock :p I saw it at the pictures, and quite enjoyed it - though I attribute that to just loving the premise (knights of the round and all that). The story line wasn't as good as it could have been I feel.

The acting was pretty decent though, I'll give you that.

I was in it :)

The last scene, an extra standing right at the front, got a screen grab somewhere...

My dad got to be one of the people who fired the flaming arrows off the cliff at the end too, jammy git. Although he looked absolutely ridiculous in his costume, complete with fake tattoo. Got a pic of that too.

Spent half the day stood right next to the woman in it as well. I say woman, piece of straw is probably a more accurate description.

Ray Winston wasn't there, he was at the England France game so they edited his bits in later, Jerry Bruckheimer was there as well!

My dad used to work for some agency who people used to get extras etc.

He called me up on a Friday night saying he had a call from one of his old work friends saying they needed loads of people at short notice as it was a last minute shoot, so we got a car full of us and went up :) Got about £200 all in for the weekend as well, and chronic sun burn. Done some other jobs for him as well in the past but this was the most glamorous lol.

Can see why these things can cost a lot though, I was working out on the day how much I reckon it must have cost them and it was silly money, had about three helicoptors there as well buzzing around.

I've still not watched the full thing, just the last scene.
