… that’s a heck of a band name

I stumbled across these guys recently and things they’re great, really good blend of pop, rock, synths and guitars. Quirky too!

I’ve mostly been listening to their Omnium Gatherum album and it plays out like a mixtape, with all sorts of tracks (even rapping). Great stuff, with persistently good percussion IMO.

I suggest starting here and going through the playlist.

King Gizzard are great. If you haven't already I'd highly recommend checking out the KEXP sessions on YouTube. They're also incredible live, their set from Bonnaroo '22 is a favourite of mine and includes a lot of songs from Omnium Gatherum
