Was at a mates house tonight and he said he a great documentary i had to watch, King Of Kong: A Fistful Of Quarters. Obviously i wasnt too thrilled at the prospect of spending ninety odd minutes watching a documentary about two rival Donkey Kong players competing for the world record high score...

Turns out he was right, it was a surprisingly compelling watch that really had me on the edge of my seat by the end. Its got everything a great drama should have and at times almost seems like a Christopher guest style mockumentary, waiting for guffman, for your consideration etc.

Cant recommend it highly enough! :)

Watched when I was off on the sick at the start of the year.

It's one of the few times I've found myself yelling abuse at someone on the telly :/

A simply fantastic documentry, expertly put together in the fact there is no narration at all and it's the people who tell the whole story.

I watched this a while back.

Excellent film and quite insightful into a world I did not know existed.

But you have to be in the right mood, do not go into it expecting any sort of Hollywood entertainment, it's just a documentary with a bit more of a plot and emotion.
