You'll need to turn on youtube's captioning to see the subs. However, they seemed to have ditched Final Fantasy completely, assuming the trailer can be believed. But they instead brought in my favourite RPG ever!
Joshua, Neku, Shiki, Beat and Rhyme are all in there :D And in this second trailer:
Neku is still in The Game, with a countdown on his hand, so that's probably going to play into the plot too.

There also looks like being a Tron area! Also, Riku as a main playable character, which is pretty nifty. There also looks like there are 'Dream Eaters' which you can capture and keep as pets, which will then be useful in the game somehow. I wasn't planning on buying a 3DS, but this and the new Layton game may be enough to convince me otherwise!
 
Would love to play all these spin-offs, but I will never own a DS, 3DS or PSP :(

I do however wish they would do an HD version of the first 2, maybe a collection like they did God of War with the others and then announce KH3 ;)
 
Kind of burn't out with the series especially with the handheld titles, though this one is quite important since it will connect with the eventual KH3 in the future, whenever that will be! Give us Final Fantasy Versus XIII first!

And yeah there's no Final Fantasy characters apart from Moogles it seems.
 
I love KH but I'l prob wait for this one to drop down in price. As Phat mentioned the handhelds are a bit well.... not as good as KH 1 + 2 imo.

Still looking forward to the KH HD collection whenever the hell that comes out and GIEF KH3 already !!!!!! lol
 
I don't mind the handheld titles to be honest but it does get quite annoying and easily frustrating for anyone when it is spanned across different ones, and then the fact that the story and chronology is all over the place.

With how long it is taking for FF Versus XIII, I can't imagine how long it will take for KH3.

Didn't the HD collection just turn out to be a false rumour in the end? Almost tempted to get a 3DS for this (and possibly a number of other titles), will probably wait for the XL to come out and see what happens with that first though :p

I've done exactly this, bought my XL and this game on Friday and have to say it's amazing, mixing in stuff from the other games, command desk etc and also the new flowmotion stuff works really well! :D

The lack of final fantasy characters is actually explained due to the fact that the worlds you visit in dream drop are dreaming worlds, as opposed to the waking worlds yo9u play in, in the other games.

Oh wait, it's out already? I thought it was due in like August some time :p (/facepalm) Is the extra £50 worth it over the standard 3DS?

Yeah I think so mate, the screen is a nice size and also as it's bigger it doesn't give me hand cramps like the smaller one did.
 
Well been playing this for most of today and I'm really impressed.

Completed 2 worlds with both Sora/Riku at the moment, now I'm on to The Grid, which is possibly my most highly anticipated world being that I am a massive Tron nerd!

Anyone else been playing this?
