What did people think of King Charles Christmas speech?

As a former monarchist (since the death of the Queen) I wasn't impressed by the universalism he seems to promote. Trying to assume leadership over other religions without asking them seems to be over entitlement in my opinion.

I've not seen any mention of the speech this year. At one time it would have been the focal point of Christmas day.

Are people just not interested anymore?

The irony of broadcasting from NHS hospital chapel wasn't lost and he couldn't be bothered to actually be there during the choirs song.
... seems to be a Palestinian supporter though - thumbs up.
[genuine R4 Sunday interview this am with UK Rabbi talking about need for kindertransport from Gaza caught my attention]

Had expected a Starmer one too. ? or is he in hiding.

I started to question things when the late Queen Elizabeth II was explaining how times are hard, while sitting next to a solid gold grand piano.
Alas for our new King I was most excited when he sold off large parts of his land for housing, while talking about the need to protect our planet.

I'm not totally anti royal and would rather see them as a side attraction as many other countries seem to have done successfully.
