Kingston 4Gb Kit...

is that application prefetching automatticly swithced on, i have vista 64 and 4gb at the mo but haven't noticed any vast speed increce from xp and 2gb.... although supreme commander loads a skirmish in 4 seconds!!!
 
Each time you load the application it should get marked as 'popular' and then get added to the list - should mean the next time you load it it will be faster - Try installing something big and then running it a couple of times, timing the load each time - you should see a large improvement! (Yes it is automatic)

kingston Hyper X 6400 & 7200 most likely be Infineon chip´s
kingston Hyper X 8500 are Micron D9GKX :)

OCUK must have ammended their pricing error as these kits were £252.49 inc VAT yesterday. I wonder if the peeps who pre-ordered them yesterday will have to pay the extra £100 which has been added to the price today.

Aye I'm not gonna bother now, I'll just wait till 4GB is worth the effort, I'll stick with Win XP for at least a good 6 months, dont break whats not broken as they say! :p
