Anyone know the differences?

Looking to buy 4x2GB and stuck between the two.

I can get the blu for £4 cheaper. Is the Grey worth the premium?

Both are 1600Mhz DDR3.

The Grey ones are designed to fit the humongous air coolers that are popular, they use a different heat spreader than the blu. Think heat spreader like the corsair vengeance but low profile. Other than that they're the same.

I think it is just the colour, but someone may prove me wrong. :)
The Genesis ones, grey and the ones with no colour mentioned have a different heat spreader and are XMP certified (not that that does anything you can't do yourself). The 'Blu' ones have the old heat spreader and aren't.

Also Note that there is a difference between the /4G and the /4GX, where the X is an intel XMP designator.

I swear I posted in here?

Anyway, the blu's are entry gamers level, genesis (blue or grey) are enthusiast and tend to be cheaper in higher quantities (currently....and if you like really hurry up, the genesis blue are £60 for 16GB on the daily advent special offers), it should have been yesterday, but its still coming up for me.

Don't need 16GB unfortunately... way overkill. Picked up the 8GB at £35.99. Royal fail unfortunately will be delivering it :(
