Never had them, never tried them but quite often there isn't much room for overclocking with the "basic" 1600MHz RAM.

Do you need 8GB DIMMs as you only have 4 RAM slots?

Do you have an appropriate operating system so you can use 32GB of RAM?

Obviously you need 64 bit but with Windows 7 you need the Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate version.

Versions below those only support 16GB or less of RAM.
 
I have the 1333mhz version of this memory. I'm running 1500mhz at 1.4v (printed memory volt is 1.5v) with standard timings, computer is rock solid stable. I expect the memory would go higher but not tried.

Yeah, will be going Z77 so only 4 dimm slots and I'm not entirely sure I want to be limited to 16Gb and a RAMdrive in the future is appealing. Win 7 64bit Ultimate here so not a problem :)
