Just bought this new RAM : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-039-KS

Just need some help configuring it though. I've changed the timings and voltage, but i'm unsure as to how to get it to run at 1066 speeds. CPU-z also reports it as being 6400 type, not 8500.

I've posted some pics below to give some more info. (Sorry for my ignorance...all a bit new to this). Running on an IP35 pro MB (see specs below)

I had a look there cheers. Couldn't figure out how to change my FSB/DRAM ratio though. I've posted a pic of my bios to give you an idea of what I have available to me.

It gives me a CPU - DRAM option (the default value of 816 increased from 799 or something after I disabled EIST). Is this where I should be looking? the closest I could get to the 1066 number was at 1:1.50 which gave a value of 1020.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Ah ok....cheers for the help wayne.

I switched the FSB to 333 but the numbers still didn't match up. Should this RAM maybe be run with the FSB @ 400?

edit: just tried 400 and the numbers didn't seem to match up either....i'm at a loss? Is the CPU : DRAM ratio the same as FSB : DRAM ?
