Has anyone used these with onboard sound?

i have the MOBO in my sig and was looking at these to replace my roccat headset that died, some reviews are awesome and some say you need a sound card to use them i do not wish to rip apart my water cooling to fit one in.

you should not need a soundcard but it wouldn't hurt to use one.

try it with onboard it should be fine they are only 32 ohm.

If not why not consider an ASUS U3 or U7 USB soundcard

Thanks twist the u3 looks like a nice bet if those don't play well with onboard
