Hi Guys & Gals
I currently have the following memory in my system:
KHX1600C8D3K3/6GX Kingston HyperX - Memory - 6 GB ( 3 x 2 GB ) - DIMM 240-pin - DDR3 - 1600 MHz - CL8 - 1.65 V - unbuffered - non-ECC
Now that memory has the following latency timings: CL8 ( 8-8-8-24 ) and runs at 1.65v as standard.
The trouble I'm currently having is trying to find a fourth matching memory stick. As far as I can tell Kingston only do the following 1600Mhz 2Gb single stick: KHX1600C9D3/2G 2GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 9-9-9-27 1.7-1.9V. Now to me that doesnt seem particularly suitable and would bring the rest of the RAM down to this latency.
The only other option I can see is the following:
KHX1800C8D3/2G 2GB 1800MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL8 8-8-8-24 1.7-1.9V, but this RAM is 1800Mhz and has a slightly higher voltage. Would that matter at all?
Other than buying the exact same memory set I bought originally, which would mean ditching two memory sticks.
What would you all recommened/advice?
