I purchased two sets of DDR2 HyperX off OcUK about 18 months ago and now one of the sticks has gone wonky and giving me errors. Now I've sent ocuk a note about this but since I bought this over the counter I can't find the receipt/order to go with it.

Will OcUK honour the warranty or do I have to go through Kingston (their website says see point of purchase)?

I doubt OcUk will be interested if you can't even show you bought it there.

The lifetime warranty only applies to the original purchaser so if you don't have a receipt you might be struggling. For all they know you bought it second hand.

You can but try.

If you paid with card you can probably check when that happened and have them check their records, arnt companys supposed to keep that information for is it 3 or 5 years I forget :)

If you paid with cash you're probably fooked
