Kitchen colour scheme

I have almost finished my kitchen odyssey, just tiles and flooring to go with everything already purchased but the tiles.

My gf chose the colour scheme which is a coffee coloured bamboo floor, cream cabinets, slate worktops and a light green wall paint.

The paint has turned out a little darker than expected, but is really nice. The only problem is that I don't think the tiles she wants to buy will go.

Can anyone recommend some tiles that would go, but preferably are not white.

Paint a piece of off white card with the light green wall paint & take it to the tile shop.
Might end up visiting several tile shops though, before you find the right tile match.

I'd go dark green tiles and black grout myself, rectangular shaped and very shiny.
