I'm planning on building a new kitchen where my 2nd bedroom currently is. It has the door to the garden so would be unsuitable as my baby daughter's room. Problem is it's a really odd space with a chimney breast taking up most of one wall and I'm finding it really hard to come up with a workable solution. I have a couple of setups in mind but wondered what you guys would do.

Dimensions (cm) are:
A&C = 255
B = 360
D = 140
E = 115
F&G = 130
H = 18

Outside walls are B & C, C also will have a window fitted into it as shown. Appliances are a free standing cooker, smeg fridge freezer & washing machine.

All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I've tried the B&Q planner, it's pretty good (only one that'll let me plan in the chimney) and I've planned out my ideas. However it doesn't make design suggestions. I was thinking maybe someone would suggest a layout I hadn't though about.

No space for a dishwasher. Plus I quite like washing up, its therapeutic.

anymore details on the cooker/fridge, mostly after height/style of the units. Also some more info on the window opening as it could limit the placement of the taller units.

Give B&Q a call, or go into the showroom, have one of their designers come out for free and give design it with you there and then. Takes about 1-2hrs of your time. At least then it will give you some ideas.

I don't really know anything about kitchens, but using standard sizes from a book this is what I would do with the space, if wall E could be filled out to make a smooth line across. (Shown on drawings)

That's pretty much what I came up with but I had the washing machine tucked under the draining board & a corner cupboard in its place. I was thinking of keeping the recess at wall E so that the wall cupboards stood out less, and having a deeper work surface that would take my coffee machine without it taking up too much space.
