Hi All

Am in the process of having my kitchen rennovated, and am at the planning stage at the moment.

I have a number of open 'corner' units which I find really handy. My installer has told me that these type of units are not available anymore, as they are out of fashion ? , and that we would have to install small cupboards etc in their place. Pic below

We are ordering the kitchen from Howdens, via his company. Anyone want to shed any light on this, or is he bs'ing me ? Anyone think of any other options ?

Why would he lie to you? They are no harder to install than a normal unit. Some manufacturers don't make open units like that as its more expensive to make a co-ordinated colour carcase whereas a normal unit hides the colour of the carcase.

He is talking nonsense I reckon (pure speculation mind), hire someone who can give you the kitchen you want.
