My kitchen is 4390 x 2645 which I'm getting totally gutted down to the brick, including new ceiling and flooring (chipboard) going to get LED lighting so any advice on type, links etc would be good and how many bulbs would I need? Also thinking about 2 settings / switches one for mood lighting and one for working. Switches would be stainless steel as sockets
Thinking about underfloor heating (depending on cost) and tiles
Any other ideas or suggestions?

Ohh and if anyone knows where I can get a small ice and water or just chilled water (plumbed) dispenser let me know I have only found one and that's over £800 :(

Ordered this kitchen from wickes http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sponsored/lifestyle/fitted-kitchens/9760704/amilia-classic-family-large.html

Sounds very similar to what I did, we had a new kitchen stripped back to brick including new ceiling and floors last year.

Part led lighting, part low energy on 3 switches (stainless steel)

Also fitted underfloor heating and tiles in fact the only thing I didn't do was the chilled water dispenser so really similar to yours.

I made a thread about it here, if you have any specific questions ask away.

WOW!!!! Had a look through it, I thought mine will be a big job!! Looks fantastic, I'm on a lower budget but yes a lot is similar to mine

I estimate £13k really don't want to go much over that, I'm getting quotes and figures based on the most it will be.

Underfloor heating thinking about this one

Plinth lights:

Down lighters:

The plinth and down lighters would be warm light the ceiling LED's will be Bright white, not worked out the amount I will need yet

Probably 7 down lighters, 12 - 15 plinth lights and about 15 ceiling

Using our exsisting dishwasher until it packs in then will get a built in one, bought extra door ready.

Forgot to mention its not a outside window its a window into our conservatory, we use it to serve food up, or else we would have!!

Anyone got a rough idea of the running costs of underfloor heating or a guide? I'm probably looking at around 6m2, unsure if 150w and rad or 250w and no rad I would prefer no rad but don't want to pay £££ in running costs. prob gonna be laminate flooring.

Update
Going to go for Laminate so need a good suppler of underfloor heating, most on ebay are for tiles not laminate :( I have been told there wont be a significant increase in costs by making the heating the primary source of heating

Kitchen is 4.3 x 2.7 not sure how many spots I would need, my intention is to put on a 3/4 way switch so say half spots, full spots and down lighters, also thinking spots to be bright white and down lighters warm white, down lights, plinth lights more for effect and late at night

any views or opinions plz
