Any ideas? Windows 8.1. Event 7034. According to event viewer, it's showing as an error on both my last crashes.

Haven't found much information on Google, some pages suggest it's Spyware/Malware?

if it suggests to be malware run a full scan using malwarebytes.

other option is to try and check windows system files to make sure they are not corrupt.

open command prompt as a admin and type sfc /scannow the scan will run and tell you if there is any OS issues

I don't know if this will help but might be a idea to remove the overclock (if its the PC in your sig) from the CPU and see if the crashing still happens

It can be a decent indication, but having had to RMA some memory recently memtest86+ picked up errors that the windows test didn't - mind you I had to run many passes before it failed.

Every test I've done has come back OK.

I turned some graphic settings down in GTA5, and it's been a lot better.....until tonight.

BSOD 124. I've only ever seen this with a bad overclock. I've removed mine for the time being. Google suggests it could be bad hardware, but what?
All stability/stress tests run OK

I'd expect toning down graphical settings to remove stress from the GPU rather than CPU in most cases. Is the GPU overclocked at all?

The only other thing I can think of is a PSU or motherboard issue, but that's fairly unlikely if only GTA5 is causing the issue.
