Knife Sets

Hello knife experts,

My Mum's knifes are absolute pap, so I want to buy her a new set for Xmas.

I remember some people knowing there stuff when it comes to knifes and I want to get a decent set. How much will I be looking at spending to get a decent knife set and a storage block to keep them in?

Ideally they'd need to be low maintenance, so no re-sharpening every so often etc.

Where on the high street can I pick some up from?

Wow, pretty impressive! Slightly out of my budget though

I like the silver ones, no handles, perfectly weighted etc.

Debenhams have got a 20% off sale at the moment so I'll got take a look there first, then head over to John Lews + House of Frazier after.

Any particular names I should avoid or go for?
