Knife sharpeners

Can anyone recommend a knife sharpener?

I currently have a Minosharp which is fine... when it's working. The stones are incredibly weak and I'm through my second set now after barely any use and I think it's time for a different solution.

My knives are all seriously out of shape now, so I need something that will regrind them as well as sharpen.

Speak to your local butcher during a quiet period about getting the knives redone. may be able to help out.

No butchers around here and the gypsies don't come round to do it any more either.

There are a few companies locally that still regrind knives, but they've done me 11 years now, so I'm considering a new set. I can't argue I haven't had good value out of them, anyway.
