While waiting (impatiently) for Mass Effect I loaded up KotOR yesterday and am still blown away at how good the story is ... loving every minute!

Looks a little basic in todays Crysis world, but it still feels really good to play through. Is it just me or is Bastila one of the sexiest female game characters ever? :D

Bring on Mass Effect, if its half as good as this it'll be a lot of fun ...

Anyone know if this was included in any compilations? (except "Star Wars: Best of PC" pack) Is KOTR 2 worth getting also?

Aye, Bastila would get it in a virtual world.

KOTOR 2 is also great (albeit with a somewhat disappointing ending), well worth getting, but make sure you patch it and save often - like every 5 minutes. Buggy as hell.

Playing mass effect at the moment, graphics are better by a lot, but dont find the story/missions as engrossing, still a great game.

Think i'll try and find all the KotoR too

Mass Effect is quality but it will never compare with the story and atmosphere that I got from playing KOTOR. Might try and find a cheap copy somewhere.

I cant find my original kotor cd's does it actually exist in any shops anymore or is my only luck the bay?

Best of Star Wars compilation is probably the best way of getting hold of it new. Should cost around £18 and includes a couple of reasonable games like Jedi Knight 2, Republic Commando, Empire at War etc

Bastila's preachiness became ironic later. I won't say what happens, since its a big spoiler.

There's some cut content, including at least one planet which was restored by fan mods.
